Introduction to Birmingham Retired Unison Members by our Chair Maureen Wade.
If you are a retired member of UNISON and live in the Birmingham area, you can join the Birmingham UNISON Retired Members Section.
We organise a monthly coffee morning with speakers on an interesting array of topics, have a Ramblers group, an ‘Out and About’ group that visits places of local interest, and an annual summer day out and Christmas lunch. Please see our Next Meeting page.
We also help shape the policies of UNISON by sending delegates to the annual National UNISON Retired Members conference, and feed into local groups such as the West Midlands Pensioners Convention.
We are open to members who have paid the UNISON lifelong membership fee – there is a further small annual subscription to join our Birmingham Section. Come and join us for friendly company and some fun activities.
